LEGACY MINISTRIES
Legacy Baptist Church of Texarkana is committed to seeing God's people properly discipled and equipped in every age and stage of ministry. We believe that a Legacy worth leaving, begins with the Legacy we are living right now.
Through each ministry age group, you will find the common thread and the purpose of Legacy Baptist Church: Love, Life, Legacy!
This foundation of being discipled and being spiritual developed into Disciple Makers is found at the core of Matthew 28:18-20:
"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
From the nursery up to the Men's and Women's ministries, we want to be a living Legacy for God's glory and honor.
We also want to live out our Christian walk in such a way that someday a legacy of spiritual sacrifice, serving, surrendering and submitting to Gods will can followed by our families, friends and other true followers of Jesus Christ.
LEGACY NURSERY
(INFANTS TO 3 YEARS)
Legacy Little infants is a very important stage for the child as well as the parents. We provide a safe and secure nursery ministries during our 10:00 am Sunday morning worship services (there is no nursery during Wednesday night activities).
Our nursery teams are a mix of parents, students, and screened workers. We love to provide a caring place for these precious gifts to your family while you participate in our worship experiences.
We group children by age and development. Our usual groupings for the nurseries are: infants and toddlers (ones & twos). We occasionally adjust these groupings based on numbers of kids involved in the ministry.

LEGACY LITTLES
(PRE-K to KINDERGARTEN -- 3 YEARS TO 5 YEARS (potty-trained))
Legacy Littles children's ministry is a safe, loving & structured environment for your child aged 3 to 5 years on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:30pm.
Each classroom utilizes the following elements:
- Bible Lesson : The Mission Bible Class curriculum is a Biblically-driven, God-centered, Christ-exalting and Gospel-saturated curriculum structured for age-appropriate learning.
- Music : Our music is designed to exalt the name of God using a variety of interactive praise & worship songs.
- Crafts : Craft-time is designed to capture a child's attention and reinforce the Bible lesson.
- Playtime : For younger children, there is a specific time set aside to play, allowing the children's energy to be channeled in a proper way, helping to make the rest of the class time more productive.
- Snack : Snacks vary from week to week. Please let us know if your child has a specific food allergy.

LEGACY KIDZ
(1ST GRADE to 5TH GRADE)
Legacy Kidz children's ministry is a safe, loving & structured environment for your child in Kindergarten to 3rd grade on Sunday mornings and for Kindergarten to 5th grade on Wednesday Nights from 6:15-7:30pm.
Each classroom utilizes the following elements:

Legacy Tweenagers currently meet in the Sanctuary for worship on Sunday mornings.
Tweenagers also meet on Wednesday Nights from 6:15-7:30pm for a time of fellowship, worship and the Word.
It is our goal that a spiritual legacy foundation is being built on at this stage in life. We want to equip them in biblical doctrines, life applications, ministry tools, spiritual gifts and as well as adding to their own spiritual legacy. Legacy Students will help them to develop their personal relationship with Jesus and others as the grow into Men and Women of God.

LEGACY STUDENTS - (S.E.A.L.E.D. JR VARSITY)
(6TH GRADE to 8TH GRADE)
SEALED Jr Varsity currently meets in the Sanctuary for worship on Sunday mornings.
Jr Varsity also meets on Wednesday Nights from 6:15-7:30pm for a time of fellowship, worship and the Word.

They also meet on Wednesday nights in a time of fellowship, worship and the Word from 6:15-7:30pm.

We want to equip them in biblical doctrines, life applications, ministry tools, spiritual gifts and as well as adding to their own spiritual legacy. ROOTED
(12TH GRADE-22 YEARS)
The Sunday Morning and Wednesday night Rooted class is uniquely designed for young adults and college students. Coaches challenge students to apply the truth of God's Word to their lives, grow in the knowledge of God and live in obedience to his will. Coaches promote fellowship as students engage the word of God, pray for each other, and build a community together.

LEGACY BUILDERS BIBLE STUDY
Legacy Builders meets at 10:30-11:15 am on Sunday Mornings with classes from 3 years to Adults.
- Nursery - ages 0-3
- Legacy Littles - Pre-K3 (potty-trained)-5yrs/Kindergarten
- Legacy Kidz - 1st-3rd grades
- Legacy Tweens - 4th-5th grades
- Legacy Students SEALED JV & Varsity-Coed - 6th-12th grades

Our Legacy Ladies have a variety of opportunities to meet, grow, and develop the spiritual legacy they are living but also planning to leave.
This ministry is founded upon the principals of Titus 2 and is also is a great way to get to know the ladies in the church to do life together with.

Our Men of Legacy Ministry has a variety of opportunities to meet, grow, and develop their spiritual legacy they are living but also planning to leave.
Men of Legacy is a ministry designed to draw, develop and disciple all men. The vision is to challenge men now in their spiritual legacy that they will leave for their families and friends. We believe men hunger for faith, fellowship, fundamentals. friends and food. When these needs are met, they grow into authentic Men of God!
Our Legacy Saints have a variety of opportunities to meet, grow, and develop their spiritual legacy they are living but also planning to leave.
WORSHIP & PRAISE TEAM
Legacy Praise is a team of gifted musicians and vocalists that God uses to lead us in worship each week under the leadership of Bro Mark Hall.
Legacy Praise uses the blended worship styles to reach a variety of genres and tastes for all ages. We are a multi generation church and we want everyone to sing and worship as a whole as it is a vital part of the overall services. We sing so many styles, you will have to love one of them!

MEDIA/IT TEAM
Legacy Media/IT is a team that utilizes technology to spread the Word of Jesus Christ through various media platforms. This team supports other ministries within the church which need to utilize the media and sound equipment.
Legacy Media/IT takes care of lights, microphones, the soundboard used for adjusting sound quality, audio & visual recording, along with the editing and publication of worship events/materials on several different media platforms.
Training will be available for anyone interested in learning and serving on the Media/IT team.

LEGACYTXK OUTDOORS & HOOKED FISHING
LEGACYTXK OUTDOOR MINISTRIES
An evangelistic outreach using a passion for outdoors to reach and disciple followers for Christ of all ages who have a love for all things outdoors!
Bro. Donnie Edwards has built a team of volunteers that have a love for the outdoors and are now using their gifts, experience and passion to reach those who love hunting, fishing, shooting, ATV and UTV trail rides, etc.
3D Archery
We have already assembled a 3D Archery setup that has bows for all ages (kids, youth and adults) with over a dozen 3D targets to shoot at including deer, hogs, turkey and we are looking at adding other animals. All of these can be adapted easily for kids, youth or adults as needed.
AirGuns/Rifles/Skeet
We have a variety of air guns and rifles to set up a tournament for just fun or even for more advanced shooters. The ministry can also handle your next skeet shooting event. All of these can be adapted easily for kids, youth or adults as needed.
Outreach
LegacyTXK Outdoors has built a wide variety of activities and tools to host your outdoor event for outreach purposes. We use this platform to draw folks into your event so we can share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our team would love to come to your church, community event, block party, outreach event, Wild Game dinner or Men's event.
HOOKED FISHING MINISTRY
Hooked is the fishing outreach ministry of LegacyTXK Outdoors.
Through the passion for and joy of fishing, we use this platform to reach and get people of all ages "Hooked" on Jesus, teaching them how to become fishers of men.
We share the gospel through adult fishing leagues, kid's fishing derbys, jr. fishing leagues and special events by getting kids (and kids at heart) on the water and enjoying the great sport of fishing.
